Your Life In A Dash

If you have ever noticed on each Head or Tombstone in any cemetery, it always states the year a person was born and the year that person died. What most people don’t pay attention to on those Tombstones, are the little dashes in between the year born and the year died. The little dash represents and sums up your whole entire life. One little dash. Think about it? Are you living your life the way that you should?

We all have three choices in life: We can choose to Change Our Situations, We can Seek to Leave Our Situations, or We can Stay and Remain in our Situations. There is always a way to live, act, and be better. If you haven’t yet discovered and found your way, it’s your own fault. You are looking in all the wrong places. Most times we ask and we pray for things that are just not in God’s will for us to have. You must refocus and reevaluate the goals that you have set for yourself and for your life. If they are in sync with what the Universe has for you, and you are truly ready to receive them, the Universe will reach out to you. What God has for you is for you! He’s Never Late! He Comes On Time and In Time.

If there is something that you wish to accomplish in your life today, then you need to take the necessary steps to do exactly that. If you’ve been meaning to enroll in school to complete your last semester, then by all means you need to start making preparations. If you are in a relationship that you know is unhealthy, it is time to move out and move on. If you are one of the many people who have chosen to stay and remain in your current situation and you know that you need to change...don’t complain to others. Not wanting to change, makes your complaints invalid.

Change in any of our lives isn’t easy. You must take risks if you want to truly live and experience all that life has to offer. Fear paralyzes and hinders most people, resulting in resentment and envy towards others. If you are envying someone at this very moment because they have something that you want, it may be to your advantage. This will push you to get up off your butt and do something with yourself. Why envy a person that you don’t even know anything about anyway. Had you taken the time to get to know that individual, you probably would have learned a thing or two. If you want to truly change your life..you have three choices. If you don’t want to change........stop complaining.

So, there you have it. When you’re gone how will your little dash on your Head or Tombstone between the year you were born and the year that you died represent your life?
